Orange Light Covers

Safety on the road starts with seeing and be seen. Brighter globes and/or spotlights are an excellent way of improving your vision. For visilibity, you can add an orange cover over your headlight. Originally the orange covers were designed and used to improve visibility during off-road/dirt road use in dust and misty conditions. They worked so well that more and more riders started to use them on-road as well. Although it definitely improves the visibility of the rider and motorcycle, many still debates the legality of riding with the orange covers on public roads. Riding with the covers on public roads are therefore on your own risk.

The orange covers should not be confused with proper polycarbonate or steel mesh headlight protectors, usually fitted with brackets a few centimeters away from the light. The orange light covers attach to the light of the motorcycle with strong velcro fastening rounds, supplied with the cover. The orange covers are easily removable to clean your lights or for night riding when you need the full strength of your high and low beam.
