Website prices for imported products

Exchange Rate Fluctuations

Although we will ALWAYS try our best to keep the prices on the website accurate, it is difficult at the moment due to the poor value of the Rand against the USD, Euro and other currencies. This usually only affects the "out-of-stock" items. Email or phone us... and we will be able to give you the revised products for future shipments. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Welcome to 2016!

"Look what you're missing" - First episode on air Saturday 26 September 2015

Look what you're missing

New travel TV series with a difference.

A program about South Africa, made by South Africans. Riding on adventure motorcycles.

Look What You’re Missing is a TV documentary story that comprises thirteen episodes, each twenty-four minutes long. The first episode in the series broadcast this Saturday 26 September 2015 on DSTV Channel 189, Ignition. It features the adventures of a group of bikers who explore the ‘roads less traveled’ throughout Southern Africa. The difference from just another travel program is, that rather than emphasizing what the rider sees, it zooms in on what he/she does not see. Hence the title which is both a question and a challenge: “Look What You’re Missing”.

Trevor Versfeld, Warren Ellwood, Henk Kotzee and the rest of the team set out to create a travel program with dual sport motorcycles as the chosen mode of transport, that will appeal to everyone, not just bikers. The idea started when they found themselves battling to explain just how awesome their recent biking weekend was to friends who did not ride. With the word bikers, they mean everyone from the guy or girl thinking about buying a bike, to someone who bought his/her bike yesterday, right through to the most traveled and experienced riders.

In the first 12 episodes the aim was to try and cover the A to Z of dual sport biking and do it in such a way to inspire a person who has never ridden before want to get the urge to get a bike and try it out themselves. The first two episodes feature fairly short rides and from episode three the trips get a fair bit longer. Many of you will possibly have been to some, most or even all the destinations featured. The team made a point making the footage fast paced, watchable and engaging.

The program is also a way of showing people that exploring by motorcycle is not the most dangerous thing you can do in the world. It is actually possible for it to be fairly safe, and that there simply is no better way to see your country, or any country for that matter.

Throughout each episode, the viewer will experience the enjoyment and excitement of the ride, the breath-taking views, fauna and flora as well as the food, fun and camaraderie they share at their destinations. Through the passion and experience of the presenters themselves, to the many tips, tricks and hordes of useful information featured in each episode, you will be left with the urge to try this life changing “sport” out, or at least give it a closer inspection. So don’t be alarmed if you find yourself standing in a motorcycle dealer one day, wondering how you got there. You might just become one of the many people who will argue that South Africa’s beauty is best viewed from behind the handlebars of a motorcycle because when you crest a mountain range in a vehicle, it is like looking at a pretty picture, but on a motorcycle, you are part of the picture.

Our new mascot - Chilli the Boxer

Chilli the Boxer - Wild@Heart Mascot
Many of our regular customers knew Chester, our awesome Boxer dog which came to work every single day. He hanged in for life, but gave up the fight last year in August at just over 13 years. Quite old for a boxer. We were extremely sad, but in January 2015 we brought Chilli home. A cheeky, adorable little brat. Come meet him next time you visit the showroom.

The mind is everything. What you think, you become.

Compliments of the Season

May you have a wonderful Festive Season with family and friends. We are now closed and out on an adventure :-). The showroom open again on Monday the 12th of January 2015 at 08h30. See you in the New Year.
