ZTechnik Screens - BMW R1200GS/Adventure
ZTechnik® revolutionises windscreen performance! The advanced 'V' shape and dimensional contours push the wind vortex out and away from the rider's helmet, resulting in a peaceful, quiet environment. This improvement is notable for the passenger as well. Tough FMR coated polycarbonate gives VStream windshields outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windshield maker worldwide. This windshield is 3 times more resistant to abrasion than acrylic materials, and has superior crack and impact resistance. All of these screens are made from rugged 4.5mm polycarbonate with FMR hardcoating. The standard factory fitted screen for the BMW R1200GS is 35.56cm heigh and the BMW R1200GS Adventure is 45.72cm heigh. The following table shows the comparative heights for the VStream® screens.
Please note: If you fitted handlebar risers on your R1200GS or Adventure, it is recommended that you fit mirror extenders (see product information below) when you fit one of the higher screens. The extenders ensure that your mirrors do not touch your new bigger screen when your handlebars are in full-lock position.
All of these screens are covered by ZTechnik's 3-Year Warranty against breakage. |
